21st Century Skills
What will you have to do to become confident of your 21st
Century Skills as a learner and as a teacher in Digital Literacy?
What are 21st Century Skills Anyways. The 21st Century Skills are the skills needed
to be successful in today's world, such as critical
thinking, problem solving, communication and collaboration.
According to Cornell University, Digital literacy is the ability to
find, evaluate, utilize, share, and create content using information
technologies and the Internet.
One of the big challenge as a learner and as a
teacher in these days is learning coding skills and then be able to teach them
to my students. In order to become
confident of my 21st century skills I will need to practice and
study really hard. It is also important
to keep in mind that we are facing diverse students in today’s classrooms. I will
find students with a lot of experience and knowledge in digital literacy, but
at the same time I will have students with minimum experience in digital
literacy and then the challenge is going to be huge. I need to prepare myself to all these
challenges. Therefore, I need to create
a plan on the digital literacy for the class but always keeping on mind every
student as an individual.
